As a native Zimbabwean, Sandy Salle was born and raised in southern Africa and developed a taste for travel (and eating!) at a young age. As an adult living in the United States, she wanted to share her love of Africa and its delectable cuisine with her friends and family.
Out of this passion, her company, Hills of Africa Travel, was born. A boutique travel firm, Hills of Africa specializes in customized African safari vacations, African honeymoon safaris, African family safaris, and celebratory safaris to southern, eastern, and central Africa. Their tailor-made trips are developed around their clients’ exact needs and preferences to create a once-in-a-lifetime journey for each and every client.
Sandy currently resides in Mooresville, North Carolina, with her husband and children, where she enjoys entertaining friends and family with traditional braai-style meals and Cape Winelands-inspired farm-fresh dishes.
